The other night I went out with some girls to an interesting lounge.. This place was like a nesting ground for Arab-American young men trying to find a girl they could “pick up.” One of them was trying to “hit on” my friend all night; turns out he was engaged! He basically is having an arranged marriage to a girl his parents set him up with back in the Middle East.

This brought up the question, “If you are engaged to be married, why are you trying to pick up girls?” Men play around, but yet when it's time for them to get married, they have to get their “holier than thou virgin” wife that their parents approve of. How come its perfectly normal to have your fun and games, but when you get married you have a long list of demands for what your wife has to be? The only person I feel bad for in this situation is the poor girl back in the Middle East. This girl probobly saved herself for marriage, and yet she gets played by a total FOB Brad Pitt wannabe.

How does this guy even know he will be compatible with the girl he is being married off to? Or is it that he is man, she is woman, she must listen to his every complaint and cry?

Most of the men I meet that have this imaginary perfect woman in their head are not even prime pickings. There are plenty "fish in the sea," so I do not need you to sit and expect me to be the perfect womb of your children.
