When the Islamic Regime of Iran said the United States can not be trusted because they never stay true to their word one has to really question this.  I mean, come on, our government was responsible for probably the largest genocide of all time, the extermination of 20 million Native Americans.  We then made "peace treaties" with them only to give them the most unwanted land for farming in America, contaminated their water supply, and not to mention, gave out small pox infested blankets to them.

When it comes to Iran, the stance was that Iran whether or not if it agreed to the UN nuclear fuel package would get slapped with sanctions, and sanctions they did receive.  Iran agreed to a fuel deal that was brokered between Brazil and Turkey, and yet, the United States passed some of the harshest sanctions against Iran making only the Iranian people suffer more.

However, I find it completely ironic that now, the U.S. is brokering a deal with Vietnam, their former enemy, a country they fought 10,000 days with at war for nuclear capability.  Doesn't that only make Asia and Southeast Asia more unstable?  Or is the U.S. really doing this so just in case if North Korea goes nuclear, it will be cheaper to fire a nuclear warhead from Hanoi than Nebraska.  I do not see how the U.S. excuse that Iran's ambition to have nuclear ENERGY for its POWER is threatening to Asia and the Middle East when Pakistan, a failed state, has nuclear weapons and India, has nuclear weapons, but as of today, Iran has ZERO nuclear weapons.  Not to mention, Israel has about 100-200 nuclear weapons.  Let's not forget China and North Korea.  It looks like with the U.S. stance on Iran, Vietnam is the LAST country you would want to have nuclear capability considering China's stance and the delicacy of North Korea.
