Iran's Cyber Army has attacked the popular social networking site, Twitter. In their attack, the attack team said,

It is quite interesting to see Iran's cyber team attack twitter. It maybe a response to attack Washington who faced fake Twitter accounts in sending thousands upon thousands of innocent Iranians to the streets in protests against the disputed June 2009 Presidential elections. These fake twitter accounts made by Washington would call for protests. Iranians were thought to believe these messages were originating from Iran, when they were not.
Iran must be on the defesinve if it is attacking Twitter. Time will tell to see what happens with this new age cyber war.
