Reports are coming in that Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his convoy were attacked in Hamadan. Iranian state media has denied the allegations, but many independent news outlets have confirmed that were injuries. If this is true, chances are the growing resentment of the clerical regime seems to be alive.

The wonderful country of Italia has decided to issue its own version of the "moral police" or more famously known as "Fati Comando" in Iran to declare a ban on women wearing mini skirts and low rise jeans to other clothing seen as sexy. The irony to it all is that young people in places like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan, and other cultrally repressive countries have risked their lives for such a simple freedom.
Founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange has been arrested in London after Interpol issued a warrant for his arrest. I guess freedom of speech really does not exist in the world. Granted, the leaks could potentiall damage the way this world does diplomacy, but at least it revealed how belittling and patronizing nation representatives were towards each other. If anything, those diplomats who were caught patronizing other diplomats and government representatives should be removed.
